BCV has again contracted with Mosquito Authority for 2025 for mosquito spraying. They will come approximately every three weeks but that is sometimes interrupted by weather. If one day is rain, it pushes the entire schedule a day later. For now, the anticipated dates for spraying are:
- April 18
- May 8
- May 29
- June 19
- July 10
- July 31
- August 21
- September 11
- October 2
- October 23
Please don’t expect treatments to eliminate 100% of the mosquitos. We do live by a swamp. However, we do hope this will make them fewer than there would be without treatment so we can enjoy more time outdoors.
